Apple warns of iPhone 3GS overheating issues

At last Apple admitted to iPhone 3gs overheating issues. They have added a warning about this in their support pages acknowledging that some iPhone 3G and 3GS indeed overheat.

According the reports received, overheating occurs in many various environments and some users have experienced a problem in which the back cover of the iPhone became discolored in under a week which can most probably be because of the heat issues.

The warning from Apple includes:



“If the interior temperature of the device exceeds normal operating temperatures, you may experience the following as it attempts to regulate its temperature: the device stops charging, display dims, and/or weak cellular signal.”

You should probably listen, if you don’t want the dreaded Temperature Warning screen:
