Google Adsense Difficult Site Navigation Error

August 21st, 2009 Leave a comment Go to comments

It seems that a lot of people are having the problem where they apply for adsense multible times and get rejected with the response difficult site navigation. I myself applied 3 times getting it each and everytime. This seemed really strange to me, as a 3 month old mentally ill baboon could probably navigate my site. I searched the internet for some solution, but it seems no one has really posted anything on the topic, other then asking for help. Well, it turns out as I’m sure most of you probably already know, google doesn’t personally check each page. They send out a bot to check the links on your website and make sure everythings in order. The bot looks for a robots.txt file that gives it permision to view the page. So add a robot.txt file to your websites root. To do this just open notepad and paste this code into it.

User-agent: Mediapartners-Google
Disallow:

Then save and name it robots.txt (make sure its spelled just like that). After you have the file saved open your FTP manager and navigate to your public_html file, and then drag your robots.txt file into it. To make sure it worked type www.”yoursitehere.com”/robots.txt next just reapply hopefully this helped.
