Google to launch Chrome Extensions officially

November 16th, 2009 oDx Leave a comment Go to comments

Google’s famous browser chrome is about to get extensions officially. As we all know Chrome has been working with extensions but unofficially.

Well this news is posted by Downloadsquad.com. Till now the corner of the page in chrome was having a small graphic icon which now changed to puzzle pieces. By hovering over it we can see the link is https://chrome.google.com/extensions.

Now this link just redirects to the google home page. Anyway keep trying. It may get an update soon.

According to a recent posting on Google Groups by Chrome team member Neil Baum, extensions are set to hit Chrome’s beta channel in early December.
