How to Save Youtube Videos or Other Flash videos in Linux

Some people like windows because of the simplicity. Well for saving youtube videos in windows is not simple. we have to use some kind of tools or some addons for doing that. But in Linux for saving a youtube video, we just have to watch it. And after watching, dont yet close the page, goto “/tmp” and look for a file starting with “Flash“. That is your video!, now copy it save with whatever name you want to use.

It cannot be simpler right? :D

In linux there are better tools for downloading the youtube videos without even browsing to that page. All you need is the link to a youtube video. the rest these tools will take care.
