Interview Tips for Job Seekers

Dress professionally, Make eye contact, Research the company, Have a firm handshake etc; these tips may sound familiar for you and these are of course great tips. But what i am giving you here is a little more different from these kind of tips.

Ask some questions

Ask some questions what the interviewer will never expect from you. this questions should be of good quality. Else this could effect you in very bad way.

For example such a question is :’Have I said anything that would lead you to believe I’m not the best person for this position?’

This makes a good impression about you and makes them believe that you are a person who can fix the problems.

Another question of this kind will be: ‘I know you are interviewing a lot of candidates for this position and I’d like to leave this interview feeling like I’ve done my absolute best. Where do I stand in comparison to the other candidates so far?’

This shows how bold are you and you are very serious about your job search.

It’s not all about you

When you are at the interview and asked to tell about yourself, dont tell too much about your self. Just be specific and relate how it will be helpful your job. Often relate to the company and the job position you are being interviewed for.

Research the company — and the interviewer

Try to get as much information that you can get about the company and its employees. If possible try to collect the information about the one who is you interviewer. You can use this information on your interview. This is proved to have a very good effect like good impression on the interviewer.

Make a list

Try to make a list of your recent achievements and goals lets say the best and recent 5  and make yourself ready to explain them. While being interviewed be specific and try to describe these 5 achievements at the right time.

Show your research

Now almost everyone would have done a small research about the company before going for the interview. But showing it off to the interviewer can have very good effects. So do not hesitate to show it off. If you can take some print outs and keep it above your resume. So when the interviewer asks for the resume and certificates s/he will also see that you have done a good research about the company.

Relate everything to the job

Relate your every answer to the current job if you can.

Keep everything short and stick to the point

Answer the question in a short way. Do not elaborate anything that is not needed. Just stick to the point.

Be Polite

You should be polite to everyone. Greet everyone, Help everybody., etc etc.

Speak as if you already got the Job

You will instead of would, use can instead of could. and speak as if you one among them.

These point can help you pass an interview. These information are collected form the internet and expressed in my own way. So errors can be possible.
