Geohot Releases Baseband Unlocker for IPhone

The guy who made the blackra1n which is a very(in)famousapplication for jailbreaking the IPhone. That release was for thr the firmware 3.1. Now he is striking again by lauching the baseband application called blacksn0w.
Now this blacksn0w allows people to unlock their IPhones with firmware 3.1.x.
Unlocking Baseband is a process which if done, the phone will be usable for any GSM carrier. Normally Iphone comes locked to some specific GSM carrier. So normally it cannot be used for any other GSM carrier.
