Vodafone Comes to IPhone

Earlier there was rumor saying like vodafone will  be selling the iPhone in the UK in early 2010. Now BBC News is reporting this also.

Vodafone says it will start selling the iPhone in the UK on 14 January 2010.



The date will be set for January 14th 2010, which is less than a month away. Vodafone has also been preparing its network for the inevitable additional demand of data that iPhone users will use.

New OS for SmartPhones BADA from Samsung

Samsung electronics announced the launch of its own open mobile platform, Samsung bada [bada] in December. This new addition to Samsung’s mobile ecosystem enables developers to create applications for millions of new Samsung mobile phones, and consumers to enjoy a fun and diverse mobile experience.

Bada will rival Android, Windows Mobile, Symbian, iPhone and other smartphone operating systems.

Says Dr. Hosoo Lee, Executive Vice President and Head of Media Solution Center at Samsung Electronics:

“By opening Samsung’s mobile platforms we will be able to provide rich mobile experiences on an increasing number of accessible smartphones.” He added, “bada will be Samsung’s landmark, iconic new platform that brings an unprecedented opportunity for operators, developers and Samsung mobile phone users around the world.”

The SDK will be launched in December.

Obviously there is nothing new on this list.But still nokia made a great try on fitting all top features under one hood. This certainly is an ambitious task by itself but the ever-expectant Nseries fans, who always want something new on their next handset, make it even harder.
